Best customer service software 2026 for Swedish companies
No customer service system is best for everyone. Zendesk and Freshdesk suit broad teams that want an established ticketing system, Intercom teams with a lot of chat, Dixa contact centres with a lot of phone, Gorgias and Tidio e-commerce on Shopify, Help Scout small email-heavy teams and HubSpot companies that already use HubSpot CRM. Kundo and Supportifier are Swedish alternatives focused on knowledge and onboarding.
The best customer service system depends on your channels, your volume and which systems the answers need to pull data from. This list compares ten systems against the same criteria and says what each one suits best, instead of ranking them.
About this page: It is written by Supportifier, and Supportifier is one of the systems on the list. We have therefore not ranked the systems. They are listed in alphabetical order. The details about the other systems come from their own websites, which we opened on 9 October 2026, and are linked in the text and under Sources. Where a detail could not be found, we say so.
How did we assess the systems?
We assessed the systems against seven criteria that matter to Swedish companies: Swedish, data storage within the EU or EEA, AI that answers from reviewed knowledge, channels, integrations with Swedish systems, price transparency and support during onboarding. We have not tested the systems in operation. The assessment is based on what the vendors themselves publish.
| Criterion | What we looked for |
|---|---|
| Swedish | Swedish company, Swedish-language website and delivery in Swedish |
| EU or EEA storage | Whether the vendor itself states that data can be stored in the EU or EEA |
| AI from reviewed knowledge | Whether the AI answers are built on your own, maintained knowledge, and how the AI is priced |
| Channels | Email, chat, forms, help centre, social channels and phone |
| Swedish integrations | Named connections to systems that are common in Sweden |
| Price and transparency | Whether list prices are published and what the pricing model looks like |
| Onboarding support | Whether the vendor describes help with setup and knowledge work |
We have not been able to verify Swedish in the interface and in AI answers for every system. Test it with your own questions. An AI answer in Swedish is never better than the material it is built on.
How do the systems differ?
The systems differ most in pricing model and in how the AI is charged. Most international systems charge per agent per month, plus a fee per AI-resolved ticket. Gorgias charges by ticket volume. Kundo publishes no prices, and Supportifier quotes each setup. The table shows list prices in the vendor's currency, excluding VAT.

Supportifier
Supportifier is our own platform, developed by Successifier AB in Stockholm. All channels share one reviewed knowledge base: help centre, AI form, AI and live chat, email, phone with AI support during the call, WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram Direct, an inbox with ticket handling and a customer portal. Every AI answer is fact-checked against the sources before it is sent or suggested. Customer data is stored within the EU/EEA and is not used to train AI models. Ready-made connections include Shopify, where Supportifier is an app in the Shopify App Store, WooCommerce, Visma Business NXT, Qliro and PostNord, and the AI can, for example, cancel, refund or change an address when you switch that on. Pricing starts at SEK 79,000 per year and is quoted, with onboarding and knowledge work as a separate part. SMS is not included. Best suited for: Swedish teams with many recurring questions that want help building the knowledge foundation.
Tidio
Tidio has, according to the pricing page, a free plan and paid plans from USD 24.17 per month. The AI agent Lyro costs from USD 32.50 per month for 50 conversations. Live chat, tickets, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and email are included on all plans. According to Tidio's privacy policy, data is processed mainly within the EEA, but some may be transferred to the USA. Best suited for: small web shops that mainly need web chat and a simple AI agent. Read the Tidio comparison.

The AI agents have a quota included and then cost USD 1.50–2.00 per resolution. Copilot costs USD 50 per agent per month. Data storage in the EEA is included from Suite Professional according to Zendesk's article on Data Center Location. Best suited for: larger teams with many channels and a need for customisation. Read the Zendesk comparison.
How do you choose between them?
Choose by testing two or three systems against the same twenty real questions from your own queue, and work out the full annual cost for the same scope. The list price per agent says little. AI fees, channels, onboarding and integrations often decide more than the licence.
Three questions that usually separate the options quickly:
- Where are the answers today? If they sit in a business system such as Visma or Shopify, choose a system with a ready-made connection to it or plan on building one.
- Who will write and maintain the knowledge? AI agents answer from the material you give them. If you lack time for that work, prioritise a vendor that helps.
- How should the AI be priced? Per resolution is cheap at low volume and expensive at high volume. A fixed setup is easier to budget but requires a volume estimate.
If you use Humany or ACE Knowledge today, there is a separate review of what is happening with Humany and what the alternatives are.
Common questions
Which is the best customer service system for a small company?
For a small company with mostly email, Help Scout's free plan or Freshdesk Growth are cheap ways to start. For a smaller web shop with chat, Tidio or Gorgias may be enough. A small company with many recurring questions and a need for help with the knowledge can compare Kundo and Supportifier, where the price is quoted.
Which customer service systems store data within the EU?
According to the vendors' own pages, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom and HubSpot can store data in the EU or EEA, in some cases only on certain plans. Dixa states that data is stored in Ireland, and Tidio that data is processed mainly within the EEA. Supportifier stores customer data within the EU/EEA. For Gorgias, Help Scout and Kundo it was not stated on the pages we read, so ask the vendor.
What does a customer service system cost?
The list prices in the table range from zero to around SEK 1,500 per agent per month, plus AI fees. In our worked examples, a team of five agents lands at roughly SEK 50,000–145,000 per year with AI and Copilot, depending on system and plan. Supportifier starts at SEK 79,000 per year.
Are Swedish systems better than international ones?
Not necessarily. Swedish vendors such as Kundo and Supportifier deliver in Swedish and have connections to systems that are common in Sweden. The international systems more often publish list prices per plan, which makes them easier to compare in advance. Test how well the AI answers work in Swedish with your own questions, whichever vendor you choose.
