HubSpot Service Hub vs Supportifier: price, AI and CRM needs

Short answer

HubSpot Service Hub is customer service inside HubSpot's CRM, priced per seat per month with mandatory onboarding from Professional and AI that consumes credits per resolution. Supportifier is a Swedish platform where a reviewed knowledge base powers help centre, chat, forms, phone, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, inbox and customer portal, from SEK 79,000 per year. Service Hub fits when the CRM context decides; Supportifier when the knowledge does.

HubSpot Service Hub is the right choice when customer service should live in the same CRM as sales and marketing. Supportifier is the right choice when the knowledge behind your customer service is what needs building, and you want help doing it. This comparison is written by Supportifier; the information about HubSpot comes from HubSpot's own pages and the conclusions are our assessments.

What is HubSpot Service Hub and what is Supportifier?

Service Hub is the customer service part of HubSpot's CRM platform; Supportifier is a standalone Swedish ticketing system built around a reviewed knowledge base. This comparison covers customer service, not CRM, sales or marketing.

According to HubSpot's pricing page for Service Hub, the plans include live chat, chatbots, calling minutes and phone numbers, WhatsApp, a knowledge base from Professional, help desk workspaces, macros and automation. The big advantage is that tickets sit on the same contact record that sales and marketing use. The AI agent is called Customer Agent.

Supportifier consists of a public help centre, AI form, AI chat and live chat, an inbox with suggested replies, a customer portal, phone, and WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct in the same inbox. All of them use the same knowledge base, which we build from your documents, your website and past tickets. Your team reviews what should apply. How the parts fit together is described on the platform page.

What does HubSpot Service Hub cost in 2026?

Service Hub starts at USD 7 per seat per month on Starter, but the tier that has a knowledge base and AI agent starts at USD 90 plus a mandatory onboarding fee. This is how the pricing page looked when we checked it on 9 October 2026.

PlanList price per seat per monthOne-off feeHubSpot credits included
FreeUSD 0, up to 2 users––
StarterFrom USD 7 (USD 20 on other payment terms)–500
ProfessionalFrom USD 90 (USD 100 on other payment terms)USD 1,500, mandatory onboarding3,000
EnterpriseFrom USD 150USD 3,500, mandatory onboarding5,000

The lower price is shown for annual payment; the page does not state explicitly what the higher one applies to, so check the billing period and commitment before you calculate. Extra credits cost USD 0.01 each according to the pricing page.

Customer Agent requires Professional or Enterprise. According to HubSpot's knowledge base article on Customer Agent, credits are consumed only when the agent delivers a resolution: when it has replied with a source or performed an action and no handover to a human occurs within 72 hours. How many credits a resolution costs is set out in a separate price list that we have not reviewed here.

A worked example with list prices: five seats on Professional come to 5 × 90 × 12 = USD 5,400 per year, plus USD 1,500 in onboarding. The first year comes to USD 6,900 before VAT, credits beyond the 3,000 included, and your own time. If HubSpot is already used for sales and marketing, only the licences that actually change belong in the calculation.

Supportifier starts at SEK 79,000 per year for the smallest customers. The arrangement consists of platform and operations according to agreed scope and volume, implementation and knowledge work as a one-off effort, and any integrations. It is invoiced annually in advance, with price and volume limits in writing before the start. More is on the pricing page.

How do Service Hub and Supportifier differ feature by feature?

Service Hub wins on CRM context and call recording; Supportifier on delivered knowledge work and connections to business systems. The information about HubSpot is according to HubSpot's website and differs between plans.

On data storage, HubSpot writes on its EU data centre page that new paying customers are assigned a data centre based on where they sign up, that accounts with only free tools end up in the US, and that existing paying customers can move their data. Check where your account is located today. In Supportifier, all customer data is stored within the EU/EEA regardless of arrangement, see the security page.

Supportifier has no ready-made HubSpot connector. If CRM data is to be used in support, that needs to be investigated, for example via Supportifier's REST API or a webhook.

When is HubSpot Service Hub the better fit?

Service Hub is the better fit when sales, marketing and customer service already work in HubSpot and the contact record is the hub. Then the shared context is often worth more than differences in AI or knowledge base.

  • You use HubSpot CRM and want tickets, deals and campaigns to be connected.
  • You want call recording and calls linked to the same contact record that sales uses.
  • You have the capacity to write and maintain the knowledge base yourselves.
  • You want to use Customer Agent to qualify leads as well, not just for support.
  • You already have Professional for another hub and can use Customer Agent from there.

When is Supportifier the better fit?

Supportifier is the better fit when the knowledge and replies in customer service are the problem, and the CRM is not the hub for support. We build the knowledge base, you review, and the same replies are used in all channels.

  • You are an e-commerce or service company where the replies depend on orders, deliveries and payments, with connections such as Shopify, Visma Business NXT, Qliro and PostNord.
  • You want help centre, chat, forms, phone and inbox to reply from the same reviewed material.
  • You do not want to build and maintain the knowledge base yourselves.
  • You want a fixed annual price with volume limits instead of seats and credits.
  • You want all customer data within the EU/EEA without checking which data centre the account ended up in.

How do you test Service Hub and Supportifier fairly?

First map what should stay in HubSpot, then test the same tickets in both. Otherwise you risk two systems where the team updates the same thing twice.

  1. List which CRM data support actually uses and who owns the contact record, the ticket and the history.
  2. Test common questions, one exception and one question without an answer in both.
  3. Count only the licences, credits and working hours that change with your choice.
  4. Use the ROI calculator to put a value on the time that is freed up.

Common questions

What does HubSpot Service Hub cost?

According to HubSpot's pricing page in October 2026, there is a free tier for up to two users. Starter starts at USD 7, Professional at USD 90 and Enterprise at USD 150 per seat per month. Professional and Enterprise have mandatory onboarding at USD 1,500 and USD 3,500 respectively. The AI agent consumes credits per resolution.

Does Supportifier replace all of HubSpot?

No. Supportifier is customer service: ticketing, knowledge base, help centre, chat, forms, phone, messaging channels and customer portal. It does not replace CRM, sales or marketing. If you want to keep HubSpot for those parts and move support, we need to investigate how customer data should be retrieved, since there is no ready-made HubSpot connector.

Can HubSpot store data in the EU?

Yes. HubSpot has an EU data centre, and according to HubSpot's page new paying customers are placed based on where they sign up. Accounts with only free tools end up in the US, and existing paying customers can move. In Supportifier, all customer data is stored within the EU/EEA as standard.

Which HubSpot cost should we compare against?

The one that actually changes. If HubSpot is used for sales and marketing anyway, you do not save the whole platform's cost by moving support. Count service licences, credits, integrations and the time you spend on two systems if you choose a combination. Include the onboarding fee in the first year.
